We are now seeking to strengthen our Systems Engineering team in London to work across a number of High Speed and Conventional rail projects, by recruiting an experienced Principal Systems Engineer.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Systems/Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

MAIN DUTIES
Principal Systems Engineer will be accountable for the delivering high quality Systems Engineering services to our clients, including:
* appropriate Systems Engineering processes for projects.
* of a team of the Systems Engineers which will include:
* Engineering (RE).
* Systems Design (SD).
* Analysis e.g., Functional, Physical, Performance.
* Modelling.
* Integration (SI).
* Integration.
* to Cost / Value Engineering (DtC).
* and Change Control Management (CM & CC).
* and Validation (V&V).
* Systems Engineering discipline activities (e.g., Safety, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, EMC, Human Factors, etc.)
* of Systems Engineering Deliverables within time and budget.
* competence framework For Systems Engineering Resources
* and maintaining good relationships all external parties to enhance the reputation of the company
* collaboratively with Project teams and stakeholders
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
* Degree in a relevant subject
* Professional Institute Membership (IET, INCOSE) would also be desirable but not essential
Experience of Systems Engineering on Large Railway projects including at least some of the following:
* Requirements and V&V
* Systems Integration
* Interface management
* System Architectures
* Common Safety Method
* Human Factors
