This includes Kubernetes platform engineering, infrastructure as code, automation, and supporting production applications through SRE practices. Key Responsibilities Lead AWS-based application development and migration projects Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for container orchestration Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform Automate deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins Implement observability and monitoring with tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments Provide production support, including incident and problem management Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement Maintain clear documentation and participate in change management Stay current with industry trends and recommend platform enhancements Skills and Experience Essential: 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) 2 years of experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure automation Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Strong scripting/programming skills (Python or Node.js) Experience in setting up and integrating observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, X-Ray) Solid experience troubleshooting AWS infrastructure issues Understanding of RDS and caching services Knowledge of traffic routing and CDN solutions (Akamai preferred) Familiarity with Route 53 and AWS Elastic Load Balancing Awareness of cloud security best practices Desirable: Experience in AWS application migrations (3 years preferred) Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., Argo CD) Familiarity with compliance standards and cloud governance
