About the role They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their Digital Defence Services team following continuous growth and success. Within Digital Defence Services, they are a critical partner to the UK Ministry of Defence in their adoption of secure digital solutions that enable multi-domain integration and data exploitation, which provides the advantage to those who serve and protect them. Holding a current MoD/Partner DV is essential for this role. About you You can bring to the role: Experience of coding in one or more relevant programming languages, e.g. Java, C#, Javascript, Python, C++ Familiarity with the packages used by BAE Systems, such as ElasticSearch, NiFI, Python, MS SQL Server; (Essential) Comfortable developing on both Linux and Windows; (Essential) Experience with React, Angular, Neoj4, Active Directory, Kerberos, Keycloak; (Preferred) Experience with the Atlassian suite of tolls (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for development, documentation, and Agile delivery (Preferred) The following are essential for the role, due to the nature of their business: Hold an MoD/Partner DV (Preferred) or be willing and able to gain an MoD/Partner DV Be a UK National Work on-site (London or West Country) in one of the customer's sites (4 days per week, Essential, 5 days per week, Preferred) Be willing to travel overseas.
