Registered Nurse/Practitioner - Recovery

Elective orthopaedic surgical services will transfer to our brand-new state-of-the-art specialist centre for elective orthopaedics at Colchester Hospital opening this year.
This role will provide you with opportunities to work in the EOC.

Main Duties of the Job
* You will provide clinically effective, high quality, individualized post-operative patient care working within the multi-disciplinary team.
* You will deliver patient care throughout the post-operative pathway.
* You will promote a safe and attractive working environment that is conducive to learning.
* You will contribute to the continuing development of post-operative and professional practice ensuring practice is evidence-based.
* You will support the integration of clinical governance in all aspects of patient care delivery.

Person Specification
Experience
* Has experience of working within a team.
* Evidence of exposure to or understanding relevant clinical experience.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Adult/ODP.
* Evidence of continued professional development plans.
* Dip HE (or working towards).
Knowledge
* Understands the clinical role of a nurse/ODP within the postoperative team.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year per annum pro rata.
