Salary: NJC 12-19 £27,711 - £31,067 (FTE) £20,522 - £23,007 (Actual Salary) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 32 per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time + Inset days)
Contract: Permanent

Unity City Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with teachers to improve the learning and attainment of students in the ‘Base’ while also promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. The role provides support to students so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
You’re someone who’ll be able to:
1. Support and adapt learning for pupils in any phase.
2. Be robust, resilient and take pride in helping students who can sometimes find school life challenging.
3. Be flexible, positive, and compassionate.
You’re someone who has:
1. Experience working with young people.
2. Level 2 functional skills Maths and English or GCSE grade C/4 and above.
3. Passion and enthusiasm for working with young people.
4. Trained in/or willing to complete Teaching Assistant training.
