Maintenance Control Officer
The role of a Maintenance Control Officer is intrinsically involved within the Maintenance Control department and the wider Integrated Control Centre at its centre of operational control in a support capacity to work alongside the Maintenance Controller to manage the organisation of the AOG recovery team’s, down route engineering assistance and organisation, ensuring operationally significant defects are managed effectively and delay recording for the reliability statistics is accurately recorded.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Coordinate AOG recovery teams.
2. Manage technical delays.
3. Oversee the rectification of critical defects in a cost-effective manner.
4. Responsible for accurate event auditing and KPI reporting.
5. Ensure maintenance records are correctly documented in AMOS.
6. Collaborate with the wider Maintenance Control and ICC teams to support airline performance targets.
7. Maintain real-time aircraft status and provide technical assistance.
What you’ll need to do the role:
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, lateral thinker who thrives under pressure and can work independently. You will bring flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to a dynamic team environment. Strong proficiency in MS Office and AMOS systems is essential, along with a solid understanding of EASA, FOCA, and CAA regulations. You should possess a good grasp of the distinctions between Part CAMO and Part 145, as well as a foundational knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and engineering principles.

Location & Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
