We are looking for a SIA Licenced individual to provide support to Site Officers, Colleagues and Customers in the provision of security and business support services within the region always adopting the principles contained within both the Colleague and Customer charters. You will be working an average of 42 hours per week. The shift pattern will be days only on a 4 on 4 off rotation. Hours will be 11am to 11pm. Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV Licence. Previous experience in a similar or supervisory role. Must have at least 3-years’ experience in the security guarding sector. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards What are you going to do: Maintain a visible presence and monitor the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests/staff Conduct regular internal and external patrols and inspections of all areas, including reception areas and corridors to detect and deter any suspicious activities Monitor surveillance systems and promptly respond to any alarms or incidents that require attention Enforce site policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment Handle any security-related issues, such as disturbances, theft, or emergencies, in a calm and efficient manner, escalating when necessary Provide excellent customer service by addressing visitor's enquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner Collaborate with other departments, such as Visitor Experience and House Keeping, Operation Managers, Duty Managers to ensure a seamless operation and enhance the overall guest experience Assist in maintaining accurate records including incident reports and daily activity logs You will be trained on all positions on site including Control Room Operator, Security Administrator, Technical Officer and Duty Shift Manager positions to cover for annual leave and sickness periods These are they key elements of the role, you may be asked to undertake additional duties as and when required.
