Job Overview
As a Ward Clerk/Receptionist, you will assist patients and visitors using various communication methods. Your responsibilities include admitting and discharging patients promptly, ensuring relevant post-admission information is sent to the appropriate personnel, and tracking patients through their care process to ensure timely treatment. The role requires tact, diplomacy, and strict confidentiality.
Main Duties
* Support a professional and caring service within clinical timescales.
* Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, updating electronic systems and patient details.
* Coordinate with clinical teams to complete documentation and manage investigation appointment requests.
