About you
The successful candidate will;
1. Have extensive experience in delivering significant refurbishment and construction projects to time and budget
2. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of industry legislation and applicable codes of practice
3. Have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment preferably in a public sector organisation
4. Be able to inspire and lead others within a complex multi-functional department that has a considerable change management programme to achieve
5. Have experience or be knowledgeable regarding timetabling systems, their constraints and be able to implement improvements
6. Be a proven inspirational leader demonstrating integrity and professionalism, a commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and the University’s values of inclusivity, trust, sustainability and aspiration
Qualifications
Essential;
7. Construction related degree or equivalent in surveying, architecture, building services, engineering or project management.
8. Professional qualification, charter or equivalent.
9. PRINCE 2 Project management methodologies or equivalent
