Job Summary: Global Edge Group is working with a prestigious oil and gas company, seeking a Diving Manager with extensive experience in offshore construction diving and ROV operations. Responsible for technical oversight and safety compliance across projects, requiring strong engineering, operations, and project management skills. A very attractive package is on offer.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all operations comply with Client’s Diving Procedure, ROV Operations, and regulatory guidelines.
2. Collaborate closely with Project Operation Manager and Field Engineer to ensure safe and timely project completion.
3. Provide solutions for subsea construction issues, participating in Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis.
4. Lead preparation of Management of Change (MOC) documents impacting diving activities.
5. Develop and review dive plans, toolbox talks, and diving drills, offering feedback to offshore teams.
6. Design and implement project-specific Diving Project Plans.
7. Review and enhance project procedures to optimize diving operations.
8. Develop specific diving procedures aligned with project requirements.
9. Assess and ensure competency of project divers, providing performance feedback.
10. Conduct operational audits and manage 3rd Party Suitability Surveys and IMCA diving audits for vessels.
11. Share lessons learned with diving teams and integrate recommendations into procedures.
12. Participate in Management Site Visits as needed by project stakeholders.
13. Ensure valid Permit to Work/Diving Permit Certificate before commencing diving operations.
14. Implement Company and Client HSE procedures and policies.
15. Submit timely reports to Project and Operation Managers.
Job Specification:
* Technical qualification: IMCA Diving Supervisors Certificate
* Minimum 15 years in offshore construction diving and ROV operations
* Minimum 5 years in project management including subcontract management and bid evaluation
