Wood is seeking expression of Interest for a Digital Twin / 3DV Systems Lead to potentially join the team for its E&OI unit. This role plays a critical role in overseeing the development, Implementation and optimization of digital twin/3DV technologies. The roles can be based anywhere within the UK with occasional travel. The Role The Digital Twin / 3DV System lead is responsible to shape the future of digital transformation by leveraging cutting – edge technology to improve decision – making, efficiency and business growth. They ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, manage data quality, and drive innovation through emerging technologies. Additionally, they engage with clients, assess vendors, support business development, and oversee continuous improvement efforts. Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. Expected: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline is typically required Experience in delivering digital solutions within the energy sector or related industries is often sought Proficiency in solution and data architecture, data processing, analytics and IoT systems is essential Familiarity with technologies such as OPC, ETL and IoT is also expected Strong understanding of solution and data architecture Familiarity with Bentley, Aveva and / or Hexagon would be an advantage Desirable: Good communicator (able to translate complex problems into simple solutions) Has the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Has creative and innovative problem-solving skills Self-motivated and proactive - works effectively and responsibly without close supervision Good presentation skills and the ability to talk confidently around specialized subjects Able to identify sales development opportunities and work with G&D colleagues to prioritize and deliver results
