Reporting to: Inventory Controls Team Leader
Location: Field Based – Scotland Central Belt and/or East & South East England
Full time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week)
Up to £25,000 (dependant on experience)

The Role:
Reporting to the Inventory Controls Team Leader, the field-based Inventory Controller is responsible for auditing warehouse and company vehicle inventory. You will ensure our records are accurate, manage stock level discrepancies and help keep our systems up to date.
The Inventory Controller will perform regular field-based inventory audits and as such, you will have a clean driving licence and be comfortable with frequent travel to locations throughout the UK.
In addition to controlling inventory at company warehouses and business partner warehouses the Inventory Controller will perform counts of stock, consumables, and tools on our inhouse fleet of vans. You will have good scheduling and communications skills and you will assist our Fleet Department to ensure that vans are appropriately stocked and in good condition.
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for building relationships with warehouse operatives, company vehicle drivers and be comfortable checking labelling, stock levels, tools, consumables, telematics systems, and cross-checking self-audit reports.
You must hold a clean driving licence and be a competent in both excel and system data entry.

Key Responsibilities
* Travelling across the UK to multiple warehouse locations to perform audits
* Coordinating your diary to meeting audit targets
* Building relationships with our business partner warehouse operatives and company vehicle drivers
* Producing audit and discrepancy reports
* Ensuring contractor and van stock variances are corrected and new reports re-published
* Auditing in-house vehicle stock, tools, consumables and telematics
* Ensuring the correct equipment is on vans
* Reporting on issues with vehicles to the Fleet Manager
* Cross checking self-audits
* Updating our centralised inventory reports with accurate inventory data
* Ensuring our supply chain issue accurate regular inventory reports
