The Role Overview: As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving client satisfaction by: Developing strong relationships and a deep understanding of SumUp’s business, the retail landscape, and our service proposition. Designing and delivering sales and marketing solutions aligned with strategic objectives and KPIs. Leading and motivating a team to drive results. Managing projects from inception to completion while ensuring a positive ROI. Identifying growth opportunities and translating them into actionable plans. Role responsibilities: To build and deliver the ambition, vision and strategy for your clients which is aligned with their overall strategic objectives. Act as the main point of contact for SumUp, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction. Inspire, develop, and manage a team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Drive the delivery of sales targets and marketing objectives. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the client’s retail strategy. Work with budgets and P&L sheets to maximize profitability. Provide clear updates to the Account Director and key stakeholders. Ensure online and in-store execution meets required standards. Oversee end-to-end delivery of campaigns and evaluate ROI. Leverage Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to enhance efficiency and reporting. About you (what we’re looking for): We’re looking for a proactive, forward-thinking leader with a passion for retail field marketing. You’ll thrive in this role if you have: 4 years of experience in account management, sales, or retail marketing. The ability to motivate and influence teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. A natural ability to visualise and communicate solutions effectively. Great attention to detail, in both delivery for the client and commercial agreements for the agency The confidence to manage multiple projects while ensuring delivery excellence. An openness to change, innovation, and new ways of working. A professional and engaging approach when representing both the client and our agency.
