Are you a Desk Adjuster or an experienced Claims Handler looking to join a team that’s a bit different from the industry norm? With over 100+ years of combined claims experience, our TPA leadership team are on hand to help you thrive, cross-skill across insurance products, and support you through industry qualifications.
Location: Hybrid with our Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5) office
Salary: £22,500 - £26,000 DOE
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Empathising and engaging with the customer to ensure that they are treated as an individual.
2. Taking the time to consider the impact of the claim and the required claim stages on the customer.
3. Maintaining confidentiality and high personal ethical standards throughout.
4. Obtaining high-quality information by investigating in a timely manner, supported by site notes, photographs, witness statements, and other appropriate evidence.
5. Understanding the relevance of the information obtained to decide upon a step-by-step plan to conclude the claim.
6. Demonstrating the confidence and knowledge to make decisions regarding policy liability, quantum, and subrogation and risk management issues.
7. Recognising when assistance is required from other colleagues when issues arise outside of the individual’s expertise.
8. Maintaining communication between the various parties to orchestrate a successful claims outcome and create a ‘joined up’ process.
9. Providing a high level of technical, quality, and customer service commitment, complementing CCG’s goal to be the ‘best’ in the market.
10. Remaining customer and client focused throughout the life of a claim, taking all necessary steps to achieve customer satisfaction within the parameters of policy cover.
11. Representing the CCG Brand and DNA at all times, whether visible or not.
12. Utilising the latest technology available to CCG to execute the role effectively.
13. Quickly responding to queries that arise within the position and carrying out ad hoc administrative tasks as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience :
1. Property claims insurance experience - essential.
2. Some construction industry experience/knowledge would be an advantage.
3. A proven track record of exhibiting a professional and personal approach when dealing with customers.
4. CILA Qualified or working towards.
