A well established and loyal client is looking for a legal assistant who will be responsible for performing administrative duties to assist our solicitors. Some tasks these professionals handle include performing research, drafting documents, transcribing dictations, liaising with clients, and maintaining activities calendars.
The ideal candidate should showcase in his or her resume data management software expertise, effective communication, familiarity with court procedures, time management, and deadline orientation.
Responsibilities:
* Liaising with staff members to progress files/support fee earners.
* Facilitate the effective organisation of the department on a day to day basis.
* Report to the head of the Legal Team in relation to the performance of their duties.
Person Specification:
* Must be results driven, be highly adaptable and flexible, work comfortably in a fast paced and dynamic legal environment.
* Set the highest standard of customer service.
* Have the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Be proactive and self-motivated.
* Must have excellent communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and organisation skills.
* The role is a full time role.
Qualification/Experience:
* Preference for experience working in a legal environment.
* Preference for experience of working within a fast-paced fast evolving and dynamic environment.
