This role involves facilitating and developing Care Group and Trust-wide clinical practice and processes, leading improvements in patient services and quality, and developing approaches for the utilisation of evidence based best practice to enhance patient and carer experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong clinical and professional leadership and advice across the Care Group to ensure best practice is achieved within Community Services. Line manage clinical and professional leads and support them to develop clinical services using innovative and evidenced based practice. Ensure compliance with statutory guidance and best practice guidelines for services within the Community Care Group. Assist in the delivery of the Nursing and AHP vision, contributing to an effective quality improvement work programme. Promote and embed a culture where all patients and their families are empowered and treated with dignity and respect. Participate in the Care Group On Call Rota. Skills and Attributes: Highly effective communication skills, able to communicate verbally and in writing to large groups of staff, patients, and relatives. Strong organizational skills, able to manage own workload and take responsibility for clinical actions and systems/standards. Ability to make complex clinical and operational judgments, manage conflicting views, and reconcile inter and intra-professional differences of opinion. Ability to lead specific AHP and nursing policy development across the wider health community in conjunction with other agencies.
