About The Company: 1.2Overall Purpose of the Role The Line Clearance Supervisor will report directly to the Line Clearance Manager (LCM) and will be responsible for establishing and arranging work within a geographical area. Location:Berkshire Vacancy Type:Permanent Full Time Hours Per Week:37.5 Monday - Friday Shift Pattern Start07:00Shift Pattern End:05:00 You will plan your work according to the priority levels instructed by your LCM, maintaining the highest standards of operational services to support the overall, annual contract delivery. Using your specialist training and expertise, you will evaluate work at job locations and negotiate and plan with the property stakeholders. Liaising closely with your LCM, you will arrange for the work to be completed by staff or sub-contractors. To encourage individual and team ownership within your LCM’s assigned area, you will assist with the auditing of all completed work. With availability, you will conduct site assessment surveys to support annual survey, resilience and similar requirements. You will promote excellent health and safety practice, supporting the contract to encourage a proactive environment of shared learning. 1.3Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role 1.3.aEvaluate and consent work in your geographical area, ensuring it is planned and completed according to your LCM’s programme. 1.3.b The staff or subcontractors available to you should be equipped and motivated to deliver operations to excellent standards of safety, compliance and efficiency. Where they are not, you contact your LCM prior to work starting. 1.3.cYou will support and promote the proactive nature of our work and demonstrate firm leadership when needed. 1.3.dYou will retain responsibility of your work through to completion, so when planning, you will liaise closely with your LCM around forecasted work volumes, costs, and challenges to ensure planned output is met. 1.3.eEnsure that work specifications and method statements are fully completed and the selected team to carry out the work are trained and compliant for the tasks. 1.3.fDuring work planning, you will ensure operational procedures, safe working methods and best environmental practices are followed according to customer requirements and Company compliance procedures. 1.3.gYou will make sure all documentation required to carry out work in a compliant manner is available to the work team. If required, you will complete the sections of this, relevant to your role, before site work starts.
