Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated plumbing/bathroom/Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using hand and power tools. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of bathrooms and heating systems in various settings, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers and radiators.
2. Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently.
3. Assemble components and equipment as required for installations.
4. Perform welding tasks to join metal parts when necessary.
5. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
6. Plumb heating systems according to specifications and regulations.
7. Carry out heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs.
8. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
9. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion.
10. Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
1. Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heating system installation or maintenance.
2. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
3. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
5. A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
6. Previous experience in plumbing is desirable but not essential.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
