Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored intervention sessions to students aiming to improve their English and Maths GCSE grades Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding of key concepts Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification Demonstrated experience in teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths Strong classroom management skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning Experience in delivering intervention programmes Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work closely with students, educators, and parents Provide remote or in-person tutoring sessions in learners home or community centers Maintain accurate records of student progress All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
