Our Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an Asset & Supportability Manager to join the Services function of our Connect portfolio.
The role holder will be responsible for working with a wide range of teams (including Business development, Delivery and Operations) on the TFL Services contracts (including Connect) for Hitachi Rail GTS. The post holder will carry out Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and supportability activities to support the project’s installed in-service assets, maintaining the service and support solution, and assist with future refresh and upgrades to support the development and delivery of the programmes.
This is a hybrid working role, meaning you will mix working from our Waterloo office with working from home and visiting customer sites and offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Data Management
* Effectively managing large amounts of data on thousands of assets spread across the underground network
* Multiple streams of data analysis including –
o Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability (RAMT) Analysis
o Logistic Support Analysis (LSA)
o Contribution to the Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
o Level of Repair (LoR) Analysis
o Maintenance Data Analysis
o Spares modelling, ranging and scaling & Stock Level Analysis
o Last Time Buy Forecasting
o Whole Life Cycle Cost Analysis
o In-service Performance Analyses
o Obsolescence Management
o Root Cause & Trend Analysis
Supportability
* Producing on time and accurate reports and explaining these to stakeholders
* Drawing from multiple data sources to collate technical data and present summary reports
* Being the primary Supportability Engineering point of contact for the customer and partners
* Supportability activities particularly in system modelling and engineering issues
* Liaising with Support Sub-Contractors, Supply Chain & Suppliers
* Achieving TLSE and Engineering milestones, metrics and reporting to meet the project requirements (Technical, Cost, Schedule and Quality)
* Working with the Stores Management Contractor and the Repairs Order Planner

What to expect
We aim to complete a single-stage interview process, with this interview held in-person at our Waterloo office. We will hold these interviews during the week commencing 9th December. The interview will focus on technical and behavioural competencies. Reasonable adjustments are available with prior notice so please highlight if this would be necessary.
