About your team Within Global Platform Solutions (GPS), the Master Trust Operations role is part of the WI Operations Governance team, which is responsible for the administration and governance of Fidelity’s Master Trust scheme, along with leading on the annual external audits of the Master Trust 05/20 AAF report, Trustee Report & Accounts and WI 01/20 AAF report. About your role This is a client facing role. You will support the Master Trust Trustees, Independent Governance Committee (IGC) and internal stakeholders/colleagues on operational and governance matters, ensuring that the Master Trust scheme remains authorised by the Pensions Regulator. About you Key Responsibilities Attend Trustee & IGC meetings, including main board and sub committees Be Fidelity’s lead at the Trustees admin sub committee meetings Write required papers for Trustee & IGC meetings Answer Master Trust questions from internal teams and Trustees Complete allocated actions from the Trustees & IGC’s Matters Arising Logs Provide requested evidence to the Trustees auditors for the annual AAF 05/20 and Financial audits Produce and present the quarterly admin reports to the Trustees and IGC Complete quarterly ONS survey for the Master Trust Maintain various logs, such as the Systems & Processes potential Significant Events log (with possible reporting to the Pensions Regulator), Systems & Processes change log, Participating Employer log, Data Sharing log etc. Provide input into the annual Trustees Chair’s Statement and IGC’s Value for Money assessment Provide requested Systems & Processes evidence to the Pensions Regulator as part of Master Trust Supervision ad hoc requests Provide required evidence and commentary for the Systems & Processes section of the Pensions Regulator’s Master Trust supervisory return Maintain Fidelity’s Systems & Processes original authorisation questionnaire submission so that it remains current Work with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues affecting the Master Trust or Contract Schemes Raise GDPR breaches to the Trustees as required Competencies (Compulsory) Detailed knowledge of DC pension schemes/administration Proven client management experience Strong “can do” attitude with a strong desire to make things happen with a high level of ownership Flexible and adaptable, responds rapidly to changing agendas.
