Our client is seeking a dedicated Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their accomplished night team and play a pivotal role in delivering accessible, affordable, and exceptional veterinary care. Established in 2012 and RCVS accredited, the practice provides 24/7 emergency care, supporting its own clients and those from sister practices in the area. Located conveniently off the A666, with excellent access to the motorway network, the practice is perfectly placed for an easy commute.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, advanced imaging such as CT scanning and ultrasound, endoscopy, diagnostics like X-rays, and an onsite laboratory. The team also provides 24/7 inpatient and critical care, ensuring a robust support system for patients and staff alike.
In this vital role, you'll manage overnight care for surgical and medical inpatients, as well as handle new admissions. You'll deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload while collaborating seamlessly with a dedicated team of RVNs and support staff to ensure outstanding service for patients and their owners.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a strong background in emergency and critical care. You'll bring proven expertise in managing a varied and fast-paced caseload with confidence, compassion, and empathy. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential to thrive in this role.
Our client offers flexibility in working patterns, including a part-time 7-on, 14-off rota, as well as options for other shift arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
