We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and energetic Plant Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and organisation of both our clients Plant and Office. This role is crucial in ensuring that their facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, thereby supporting their business operations and employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building Maintenance Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the building maintenance schedule to ensure timely and effective upkeep.
* Mail and Data Management: Manage mail receipt, sorting, distribution, and dispatch. Handle filing, statistical analysis, data entry, and procedure design.
* Contractor Safety and Induction: Ensure the safety and proper induction of all contractors.
* Security Oversight: Manage security operations for both the Melton plant and office.
* Essential Services Management: Coordinate, plan, and supervise the execution of essential services including cleaning, catering, heating, lighting, waste disposal, and recycling for both internal and external operations.
* Supply Management: Maintain supplies for both the plant and office.
* Procurement Coordination: Oversee the requisition and receipt of goods and services.
* IT Supply Distribution: Coordinate the distribution of IT supplies for all UK sites.
* Promotional Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of promotional items in collaboration with Group Marketing.
* Event Organisation: Organize site and company meetings and conferences at the Melton Plant and Melton Office.
* Month-End Support: Assist in the month-end processes for the Melton Plant, including stock checks and paperwork.
* Inventory Management: Participate in yearly inventory checks.
* Finance System Review: Continuously review the internal finance system, Esker, and collaborate with plant personnel to maintain high standards for goods receipt and inventory.
* Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
* Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and implement sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact of our facilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
* Strong understanding of building systems and maintenance requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
