Job Title: SEN Support Worker – Primary School (Bristol)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their potential?
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join our supply team and work within primary schools across Bristol. In this role, you will support children with diverse learning needs, assisting with daily learning tasks and providing individualized support to help them thrive in an inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to children with SEN, assisting them with day-to-day learning activities and helping them stay engaged in lessons.
* Work 1:1 or with small groups to implement learning strategies that meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to ensure appropriate support is in place for students.
* Help with behaviour management, ensuring pupils feel supported and understood in a safe environment.
* Assist in the development of personalized learning plans and monitor pupil progress.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging their emotional and social development.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs, is preferred.
* Understanding of various learning difficulties and SEN strategies.
* Ability to support children with a range of needs, including learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with young learners.
* Experience working in a school setting or a relevant qualification is desirable, but not essential.
