The Vacancy Your Choice Barnet, part of the Barnet Group, is seeking to hire As and When Assistant Supporters Workers and Care Workers to add to the growing team. You will be able to work flexibly around your current commitments, but some degree of flexibility is required to cover various shifts. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilites: Support: Assist individuals during their respite care, including social activities, cooking, and cleaning. Safety and Quality: Ensure service users are safe and receive high-quality care. Transport: Help service users access services using public or in-house transport. Personal Care: Assist with personal care and toileting. Health and Wellbeing: Support health management, medication, and wellbeing activities. Relationships: Maintain and facilitate relationships with family and friends. Administrative Tasks: Handle report writing, petty cash, IT equipment, monitoring, and reporting. Training: Participate in mandatory training and regular supervision. What you'll need to succeed? Compassion and empathy. Strong communication skills.
