Thales is looking to recruit a dynamic & experienced ILS Supportability Engineer to join a UK-wide Supportability Engineering team serving Land, Sea & Air sectors for military & commercial customers within our Service Engineering Division.
ILS is part of the wider Through Life Support Engineering (TSE) Team. The successful individual will support and collaborate with specialists in Tech Publications, Training, Obsolescence, Service Solution Architecture, and Product Support Engineering. Together, we deliver excellence and value to our customers.

What will you deliver?
* Work as part of an experienced supportability/engineering team to handle work packages, including reliability, maintainability, availability & spares modelling.
* Engage with wider TLSE requirements and team relationships, collaborating with specialists in Obsolescence, Asset Management, Repairs, Technical Publications, and Training.
* Present analyses at project reviews (PDR or CDR) and document findings in ARM or Supportability Cases, or Integrated Support Plans.
* Manage supportability activities and work packages.
* Provide inputs to programme management and regular status updates.
* Make technical decisions within your responsibility and delegated authority.
* Support programmes with technical expertise and guidance.
* Assist and guide team members and contribute to engineering communities of interest.
* Participate in team planning, risk management, and uphold safety and quality standards.
* Set personal development goals and share best practices.
* Develop and maintain local supply chain relationships.
Who are we looking for?
* Degree qualified or equivalent preferred.
* Significant ILS experience, including:
o Through-Life Cost and spares modelling (experience with Systecon OPUS preferred)
o Logistic Support Analysis
o Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability Studies
o FMECAs
o Initial Provisioning
o DRACAS
o LSAR Database creation and maintenance (Eagle experience advantageous)
o Work package management experience
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office
o Experience collaborating with Design Engineering and supporting disciplines
o Experience with technical and commercial interactions with customers, partners, and suppliers
o Experience supporting bids and producing related deliverables
Military equipment support experience is advantageous.
This role requires SC Clearance. If not currently held, the successful candidate must obtain and maintain it. Visit the UKSV website for guidance.
Residency in the UK for the last 5 years is generally required for full SC clearance; minimum 3 years' residence may be accepted with additional checks.
