We are looking for an enthusiastic & motivated individual who has a passion for the delivery of high quality patient care to join the leadership on ward J09. The team on J09 are committed to keeping patients at the centre of care, creating an environment that encourages new ideas to improve care and their patients experience.
You will work in close partnership with the multi-disciplinary team in caring for patients with a range of respiratory conditions such as Asthma, Pneumonia, COPD and Cystic Fibrosis.
You may be an existing Band 7 looking for a new challenge or an experienced Band 6 ready to further your career, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills and an interest in leadership and management. You will also need to have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional and calm manner.

They will provide professional, clinical, managerial leadership and supervision for the nursing team. The jobholder is responsible for developing and maintaining a ward or departments philosophy that has the patient at the centre of compassionate safe and quality care delivery. Through managing the administrative and financial aspects of the ward, the jobholder will ensure cost effective use of resources.
