Senior AC Engineer / Supervisor (or pick up truck fanatics!)… we've got the one you've been waiting for!
Our client, a leading Chiller & Air Conditioning Service Provider, is looking to add a Field Service Supervisor (very much of a VRV/VRF bias), to their Southern service team, covering London & the Home Counties.
The business is looking for a dynamic engineer who is keen to continue their progression with a view to stepping into management within a 'working / field service' supervisory capacity, ultimately working in a hybrid capacity, partially on the tools, and partially off.
You will be experienced in all things air conditioning, with a strong emphasis on VRV / VRF. The successful engineer will ideally be considered a VRV/VRF specialist. You will need to be extremely competent on Daikin and Mitsubishi products in particular. Experience and competency using Service Checker Software would be advantageous, but not essential, as training on this would be provided, if required. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and technical work at a high level. On occasion, (although rarely), you will be required to work on splits and multi splits also. All works carried out will be of a service and maintenance variety, with absolutely no element of installation at all.
With the position being that of a supervisory nature, you will be responsible for the growth and development of other engineers, including apprentices and improvers, providing technical support for both engineers and clients alike.
You will also be required to:
1. Manage teams of engineers during day-to-day planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and projects. Including supporting them technically, with the need to visit the site at times for the more difficult problems to be diagnosed.
2. Provide quotations for customers, including both reactive and planned maintenance, and new projects, from spec, or design and build.
3. Plan routine maintenance visits, including RAMS, schedules, and permits.
On offer is a fantastic basic salary of up to £60,000, with paid travel time (door to door), unlimited O/T opportunities, a fully expensed company vehicle (choice of vehicle, including pick up truck!), life insurance, medical care, and pension scheme, but most importantly, unlimited career progression opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
