About the Role:
As an SEN TA, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they can access and thrive within the school environment. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
* Element of personal care
* Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons and resources for diverse learning needs.
* Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
* Monitor and report on student progress to key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
* Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
* Knowledge of a range of SEN conditions (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties).
