Job Title: Student Personal Development Manager
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Meridian Business Support is looking for a Student Personal Development Manager to join a vibrant and forward-thinking college in Cambridge.
About the Role: As the Student Personal Development Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing the college’s centrally devised personal development programme. This includes creating and supporting high-quality materials for tutors and teachers, developing engaging student voice initiatives, and coordinating enrichment activities and events aligned with both local and national priorities.
You’ll play a key role in enhancing the overall learner journey for students, adult learners, and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver the college-wide personal development programme
Coordinate the design and distribution of tutorial and enrichment materials
Oversee student voice activities and promote learner involvement
Plan and deliver events that support students’ personal growth and progression
Manage and support teams across personal development, pastoral support, enrichment, and learning resources
Ensure a consistently excellent service that enhances student outcomes and supports successful post-college destinationsRequirements:
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
Evidence of continuous professional development
A relevant Level 3 qualification or substantial supervisory experience
Qualified to a minimum Level 2 standard in English and Maths
Good basic knowledge of IT packages
Proven experience in managing personal development programmes within an educational or youth service setting
Experience in successfully leading and managing teams
Experience in developing and delivering training programmes
Experience in coordinating student enrichment activities and student voice initiatives
