The Role – Manager – Championships – AIG Women’s Open
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Championship Team as Manager – Championship – AIG Women’s Open. The successful candidate will plan and deliver a range of projects, planning 12 months ahead or longer in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to assist in the delivery of the AIG Women’s Open (AIGWO) Championship, ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed tolerances and SLAs are met and a world-class experience for all stakeholders is achieved in line with event and departmental strategies.
Accountable for spectator facilities, including designing, planning and delivering the Festival Village to offer diverse fan engagement activities aligned to the championship’s core values.
Work with the Assistant Director and other Operations Managers to appropriately allocate work activities, with changing specific operational focuses, dependent on capacity and individual development plans.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week.
We currently operate to a hybrid working policy of 3 days per week in the office in St Andrews and 2 days working from home.

Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
* Degree level qualification, or equivalent relevant working experience.
* Strong project management skills and experience and/or a project management certification.
* Experience managing and liaising with contractors.
* Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
* Experience of managing budgets.
* Experience in event delivery.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office Packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience in delivering fan engagement activations is desirable.
