You will work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels and professionals within the Trust, and with key external stakeholders, routinely working with senior managers and senior clinicians to support them in delivering improvements in their areas.
Main duties of the job
The Transformation team provides specialist support to Bradford Teaching Hospitals using quality, service improvement, and redesign tools and techniques. The team is based on an internal consultancy model, requiring professionalism and customer focus while upholding the remit and business objectives of the team.
You will provide support and guidance as a service improvement lead and, where appropriate, as a programme manager for a portfolio of Improvement Projects, ensuring that the work delivers the required quality and productivity benefits through redesign and innovation. You will champion the provision of high-quality services to ensure that we consistently put patients first while making the best possible use of our precious resources. The roles will support services to engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and adapt to the changing healthcare economy, bringing new thinking that will benefit the organisation and our patients.
The roles will support the Director of Strategy and Transformation in contributing to the development of a culture of innovation, improvement, and assurance across the Trust through shared learning approaches. They will take a lead role in identifying key opportunities for delivering benefits through innovative collaboration with key stakeholders for the benefit of our patients and the organisation.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of leading change in an organisation, including the application of improvement methods to deliver tangible benefits to quality and productivity.
* Working with people at all levels, including senior management and the wider system to influence and lead change.
* Experience of running programmes, projects, and services.
* Evidence of measuring the impact of your programmes and projects.
* Operational management in a complex environment.
* Experience of managing and influencing conflicting and competing priorities.
* Managing multiple projects/programmes simultaneously.
* Experience of working in healthcare or similar.
* Clinical experience.
* Private sector/commercial experience.
* Experience of producing and developing project documentation and presenting on a tight timeline.
* Experience of using project management methodologies and Service Improvement tools.
