Job Description
TPF Recruitment is excited to support a client located in Hailsham with the recruitment of an Accounts & Tax Assistant Manager / Manager to join their growing team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with the partners of the firm, providing a broad range of accounting and tax services.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Production: Prepare and produce accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Company Filings: Manage company filings and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts, providing insights and recommendations.
* Company Secretarial: Handle company secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory books and records.
* Tax Compliance: Manage both corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* VAT Returns: Complete and submit VAT returns for clients.
* Client Interaction: Directly support one of the practice’s directors, liaising with clients on a regular basis.

* Accounting Software Proficiency: Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and preferably IRIS.
* General Practice Background: Strong background in general practice with extensive knowledge of both corporate and personal taxes.
* Professional Qualification: Ideally ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.

* Pay: Up to £60,500.00 per year
* Expected Hours: No less than 24 per week
