Tax Manager

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients including high-net-worth individuals, property investors, business owners, and trusts, delivering expert advice and high-quality compliance services.

Role Responsibilities
* Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients and trusts, overseeing the timely preparation and submission of tax returns
* Acting as the key point of contact for your clients, building strong and lasting relationships
* Providing expert advice on a range of matters including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation
* Supporting junior staff members through mentoring, technical guidance, and review of their work
* Identifying planning opportunities and supporting the delivery of advisory work
* Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
* Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence related to enquiries and disclosures

Candidate Requirements
* ATT and/or CTA qualified (or QBE with significant relevant experience)
* Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio within a practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, trusts, and estate planning
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
* A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is desirable
