ABOUT THE ROLE We are recruiting for the following 4 Faculty Department Administrator roles (please specify your role/Faculty of preference in your cover letter): Faculty of Business and Law: full time and permanent (City Campus East) Faculty of Business and Law: part time (0.5FTE) and fixed term till September 2027 (City Campus East) Faculty of Business and Law: full time and fixed term till to October 2025 (City Campus East) Faculty of Health and Life Sciences: full time and fixed term till September 2025 (Coach Lane campus/City campus) As a Departmental Administrator, you will provide direct support to a Head of Department as well as general administrative support to the wider academic department to ensure departmental business activities are delivered effectively and efficiently. The role encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities such as diary management, organising and supporting meetings, events and recruitment panels, purchasing of goods and services, and arranging travel including student field trips Further information is available in the role description. ABOUT THE TEAM Reporting to the Faculty Operations Manager, you will work closely with the other Faculty Departmental Administrators as well as the wider University departments and services e.g. Human Resources, Procurement etc. ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role you must: Be a team player with previous experience in a fast paced, customer focused environment and the ability to work confidently with people at different levels in the organisation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work independently and use your initiative to find solutions and solve problems.
