What will you do?
1. Review forecast generated and provide input on changes required.
2. Develop and analyze 12-18 month supply plan and present to leadership.
3. Complete supply planning elements and initiate data into ERP system; collaborate with demand planners.
4. Partner with Product Leadership (Manufacturing, Marketing, R&D, Commercial) and attend their planning and strategy meetings.
5. Collect information and collaborate with other functions such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to identify events that will alter demand and incorporate into the forecast.
6. Prepare for and lead Supply review meetings.
7. Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters.
8. Prepare agenda, present materials, and facilitate monthly resource requirement planning and sales and operations planning meetings.
9. Provide detailed capacity charts for business review meetings.
10. Build and maintain Capacity Evaluation tool for BU capacity planning with future opportunities and a 5-year outlook.
11. Ability to run and maintain multiple spreadsheets/reports.
12. Maintain, measure, and improve the accuracy of planning data.
13. Enable plans to deliver and improve service & inventory targets by enhancing forecast measures.
14. Provide demand input into the S&OP process to clarify risks and opportunities.
Preferred qualifications
* 5 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with enterprise business systems and software (specifically, SAP).
* Experience with process improvement / operational excellence is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Developing professional expertise, applying company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
* Expertise in ERP/MRP Planning systems, including inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management, and procurement functionality, especially SAP.
* High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
* Solid understanding of planning and purchasing systems and inventory flow throughout the supply chain.
* Ability to develop and provide reports on capacity and product availability.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Good problem solving and reasoning skills.
