Job Description
* Manage and process property transactions in a diligent and timely manner.
* Work closely with the secretarial and business support team to ensure all client needs are met.
* Prepare and proofread legal documents and correspondences.
* Conduct legal research and provide summaries to senior team members.
* Assist with the preparation of billing and invoicing.
* Maintain organised and accurate client files.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Continuously develop knowledge and understanding of conveyancing practices and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Secretary/ Paralegal should have:
* An educational background in Law or a related field.
* Ideally a strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
