Job Purpose:
To undertake all necessary general and specific duties, ensuring a clean, safe and tidy environment, using where appropriate, specific equipment and PPE.
Requirements
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
1. Experience of general assistant support in a customer-focused environment.
2. Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record (PVG) or willing to become a scheme member.
Responsibilities
The post holder is expected to be able to demonstrate:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with service users, staff, and carers.
2. Ability to carry out a range of general assistant tasks in public, kitchen, and laundry areas.
3. Ability to lift and move objects safely.
4. Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team.
5. Reporting of any health and safety hazards or issues.
