Job Advert: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – South Wirral
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a school in South Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working in schools who is passionate about supporting students' learning and development.
Start date: Monday 24th February 2025
The Role:
1. Supporting students with their learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
2. Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
3. Providing additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or those who require extra help to achieve their full potential.
4. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Helping with classroom management and behaviour support when necessary.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a school setting is essential.
2. A passion for education and supporting young people.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
5. A patient and nurturing approach to learning support.
6. Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
