The role:
Join a dynamic and supportive therapy led team and embark on a fulfilling journey as a Community Reablement Assistant. In this flexible and rewarding role, you will be working alongside Occupational Therapists and Reablement Officers playing a vital part in helping individuals regain their confidence and independence after a hospital stay. As the first point of contact for those returning home, you’ll provide essential support and bring positivity to their recovery journey, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day.

* Competitive Hourly Rate : From £13.05 per hour with opportunities for career and pay progression.

* Higher Pay on Weekends (from £16.31 an hour) and Bank Holidays (from £26.10 an hour)

Your main responsibilities:
* Supporting people with their personal care and empowering them to do as much as possible on their own.
* Monitoring and providing feedback on the progress of people’s goals.
* Assisting with medication and encouraging independence.
* Completing care records and other relevant paperwork.
* Facilitating access to community groups and services.
Part-time - 20 hours per week - evenings and weekends.
No prior care experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed and grow in your role. A valid licence to drive in the UK is required as the role involves travelling locally and lone working.
