We're seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant to our CEO. You'll provide high-quality support, serving as a main coordination point for the AXA Health Executive Committee (ExCom) and liaising with stakeholders across AXA. You'll also lead on and deliver projects, ensuring the CEO has timely analysis, advice and direction on all business activities. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Management of Executive Committee and Governance Framework Draft agendas, facilitate effectiveness of and focus on minutes and actions for Chief Executive’s meetings, coordinating other team interactions to aide effectiveness of leadership team, decision making process and governance. Monitor decisions and actions to ensure they are followed through. Gather information and follow-up on progress of regular reporting and ad-hoc requests to the team. Ensure the Chief Executive is aware of current new requirements relating to the AXA UK & Ireland governance framework and coordinate activity to ensure they are met. Ensure management structure charts, circulation lists, apportionment matrices, delegated authority matrices and membership of boards and forums are kept up to date. Project and Stakeholder Management Deliver solutions to all ad-hoc tasks and projects delegated by Chief Executive, working with contacts across the business and reporting resolution back to Chief Executive directly and ensuring that consideration is given to internal challenges and external market factors. Participate in key strategic business initiatives and programmes for example operating model, Merger and Acquisition activity and tender processes, acting as designate where directed to support business strategy, growth and profitability. Establish and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders in AXA Insurance, AXA UK & Ireland and AXA SA to ensure all key issues identified and resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the Chief Executive. Support of Executive Office Plan resource for and delivery of Chief Executive Office output and ensure work allocated and delivered to quality and time by Executive Office. Support the logistics required in leadership communications/ visibility, alongside the Internal Communications team. Reporting Leads on / works with others (i.e. internal communications/strategy/PR) to provide guidance presentations and scripts for Chief Executive presentations to ensure key messages delivered to internal and external stakeholders, supporting business strategy. Identify key messages to be delivered by Chief Executive and material sources and review reports for Chief Executive submissions to Boards / meetings. Facilitate responses to the FCA, ABI, FOS and government on key reviews alongside key stakeholders (i.e. Compliance). Produce analysis of documents and summaries of reports and presentations such as UK Board, Board, Audit, Compliance, AXA UK&I Management Committee in order to highlight key issues, making recommendations of areas to challenge or risks for the Chief Executive to challenge further. Supporting Chief Executive in day to day tasks Work with the Personal Assistant to agree priorities in the Chief Executives workload, drafting responses to emails, customer complaints, initiating action and if appropriate dealing on own initiative by referring requests from Group, internal and external parties to direct reports or fulfilling on their behalf. Support the Chief Executive in the effective setting of and monitoring of CEO and direct reports performance / objectives. Identify significant issues and risks (including financial, regulatory, customer and reputational) which are material to the Chief Executive, the AXA PPP business and its strategy, then investigate and challenge by utilising network. Alongside the strategy team, monitor the progress of key UK and Group processes such as the strategic planning and reporting timetables to ensure Chief Executive deliverables are met. Alongside the strategy team ensure all AXA PPP stakeholders are engaged with the company’s strategic planning process. With PA ensure that Chief Executive activities are aligned to key business issues of that period. Support the prioritisation of commitments in the Chief Executive’s calendar, delegating activities to direct reports where necessary or assuming responsibility on her behalf. Engage the CEO with regards to particular requirements prior to or during commitments. Act as alternate to Chief Executive as instructed. Maintain an effective, pro-active and joined up awareness of all issues that pass through the Chief Executive’s Office. Research and preparation of briefings for site visits, client and partner interactions, including engagement of other internal ExCom and stakeholders as needed.
