Description Role Summary Cornwall Airport Newquay seeks an Airfield Services Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering and a strong understanding of airfield operations. Responsibilities • Maintain and repair airfield lighting systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. • Collaborate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and engineers to ensure seamless communication and coordination. • Implement and develop engineering procedures and maintenance schedules in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policy. • Support all airfield projects and contribute to the success of the Air Traffic Engineering team and wider Cornwall Airport Newquay Team. Essential Skills • Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. • Aptitude to pass an Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) Course. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Full UK driving license holder. Desirable Skills • Knowledge of airfield electrical systems. • Understanding of airfield operations and relevant regulatory requirements. • Previous employment working within a CAA / MAA regulated environment or equivalent experience.
