Functional Oracle Analyst | Bristol | Permanent | Salary up to £70,000 p.a.
Peaple Talent have partnered with a brilliant client in Bristol looking to recruit a Functional Oracle Analyst.
This is a full-time permanent role and offers hybrid working whereby you will be expected in the office in Bristol up to 2 times per week.
The successful candidate will help to support our client’s Oracle Fusion system, ensuring that it transitions into a stable operational phase, troubleshoot user problems, recreating bugs, and work alongside a third-party supplier.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the newly implemented Oracle Cloud Fusion system generates effective reports, analyses, and support to meet business requirements.
2. Consistently develop exceptional customer service to end users, maintaining a high standard of support.
3. Offer ongoing support for Oracle Fusion.
4. Escalate significant issues to the line manager to mitigate business impact and ensure effective resolution.
5. Investigate and resolve incidents and defects across the entire process, addressing issues within modules and related systems in the finance domain, focusing on root cause analysis and scalable solutions.
6. Partner with third-party support providers, utilizing their ticketing systems to resolve technical issues.
7. Reproduce system issues in development environments, assisting with the testing of modifications and ensuring successful acceptance testing of changes.
8. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce the volume of support tickets.
9. Manage system administration, maintenance tasks, interface control, and support during month-end processes.
Key Experience Required:
1. Solid knowledge of Oracle Fusion and Financial Modules.
2. Operationally focused and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
3. Previous involvement in Oracle Cloud project implementation or support, along with a good grasp of financial workflows.
4. Demonstrated ability to convert user requests into system specifications.
5. Strong skills in analysing requirements, configuring systems, training users, and providing continuous support are essential.
6. Comfortable interacting with key stakeholders at all levels.
7. Oracle certifications.
8. Good understanding of accounting practices and month-end procedures is necessary.
9. Exceptional communication abilities and a customer-oriented approach are important.
