The Company
An international engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial components and machinery.
The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for keeping projects running smoothly, meeting customer expectations, in budget, and achieving completion within the project timeline.
The work will include the following:
Determine when projects are required to meet customer expectations, support the manufacturing process and meet target delivery dates.
Responsible for both internal and customer project kick off meetings.
Set up measurement methods and forms of recording to monitor the performance of the manufacturing processes.
Work closely with other departments to keep projects running smoothly, meeting requirements, in budget, and achieving completion within the project timeline.
Hold daily interdepartmental meetings to review the order log through the back-office process (special design visual board) and raise any issues off schedule.
Travel as required.
Organise and run project meetings for strategic customer orders for new and existing products that are processed through the company.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must
1. Bachelor’s degree with Engineering industry experience
2. Prince 2 desirable but not essential
