Business Development Manager – Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire
The Role: This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, target driven, resilient and dynamic Business Development Manager, who has a genuine passion for building relationships with new customers, and a proven track record of having done this successfully before, within the parcel services/solutions sector.
While your focus and key responsibilities will be to keep the depots in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire as busy as possible, you have the freedom to reach out to customers across the whole of the UK wherever you might come across an opportunity, to bring their attention to the companies market leading provision of multi-carrier parcel solutions. This businesses main strength lies within providing E-Commerce and Online Retail businesses with exceptional parcel delivery services for them to deliver their goods to their customer base in a timely and professional manner.
This is a varied & engaging role, targeting a range of customers who need to send all kinds of different products, from one man bands to large national organisations, reaching out to the likes of Managers, Owners and Directors. As such you will need to be an agile and confident communicator with the ability to adapt your style to suit the environment.
This role is a fully home-based role, with the expectation to be out on the road at face-to-face meetings the majority of the working week. While they will expect you to have your own contacts and be able to generate your own prospect lists you will also have access to their CRM system and have leads passed to you by the internal sales team to bolster your pipeline!
Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you will…
·Have a minimum of 2-3 years prior experience in a B2B sales position selling parcel solutions.
·Prior experience having sold either into a similar account base would be highly advantageous.
·Have a proven track record in hitting targets both in a new business environment.
·Be able to demonstrate that you are dynamic, target driven, credible, tenacious, and resilient with ambition and passion.
The Package for Business Development Manager
·Basic salary up to £42’000 depending on experience (+ generous monthly commission)
·Hybrid/Electric company car or Car Allowance

·22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Location The role of Business Development Manager has a National remit, with a focus on Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, so you will be required to live within reasonable travelling distance to those area’s.
