Job Title: Site Intervention Engineer
Location: Leeds (ETO)
Mission and responsibilities:
1. Perform investigations on issues found at customer site.
2. Advise customers on best practices, new services, and upgrade opportunities.
3. Submit Opportunity Detected during interventions.
4. Support Schneider equipment including but not limited to: electrical switchgear, transformers, Drives, etc.
5. Lead or contribute to small projects coordination and execution on customer site (end of life, modernization, upgrade, ...).
6. Interpret blueprints and other service documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
7. Perform basic audits of customers' electrical systems and equipment.
8. Create technical reports for customer issues.
9. Document all required information for each site (technical report).
10. Investigate remotely the origin of the breakdown and submit fixes.
11. Provide daily and accurate time and expense for each customer intervention.
12. Document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
13. Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems that arise during start-up.
14. Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
15. Assist Schneider Electric Service Partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
16. Maintain permanent communication with the planner/coordinator for smooth execution of interventions.
17. Escalate to FS technical expert in the countries as needed when unable to solve a technical issue.
Skills and attributes:
* Good communication skills with proficiency in English (written and verbal).
* Professional attitude for working directly with customers.
* ECS card from JIB.
* CCNSG safety passport from ECITB.
* SF6 awareness.
Education:
* HNC or equivalent.
* Engineering experience.
