You are the first face and first conversation that visitors to The Woodmill in Cullompton will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors, and service users.
What you will be doing
In this exciting role at The Woodmill, a service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs, each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working 30 hours a week alongside the reception team, your key responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring they sign the visitor book.
* Coordinating the office diary for meetings, events, training days, and therapy sessions.
* Efficiently handling telephone calls, emails, and post.
* Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area and meeting rooms.
* Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff, and visitors.
* Managing visitor sign-ins, conducting security checks, and distributing keys and security badges.
* Ensuring confidentiality and security for the service.
* Completing ad hoc administration tasks.
* Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.
* Managing deliveries.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in a reception or administrative role.
* Strong computer skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professionalism, confidence, and diplomacy.
* GCSE English Language Grade C or above.
* Efficiency and enthusiasm.
* Awareness of confidentiality and security practices.
* The ability to work alongside a team and independently.
* A welcoming and self-motivated demeanor.

The Woodmill, located in Cullompton, Devon, is an 18-bed rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs. The aim of the service is to support women in improving their self-worth, building a better quality of life for themselves, and equipping them with the skills needed for independence.
