A bit about me:
I am a bubbly person. I Love music and dogs. I also enjoy art and getting out and about.
I run a fibromyalgia support group on a voluntary basis. I also begin work as a volunteer at a special needs school in January. My family and friends are everything to me.
I also like to maintain my own independence.
About the role:
I need support with swimming and Gym. I don't need assistance when I am in the water, the support I need is getting ready for swimming then getting back out of the pool to assist me in my wheelchair. I can shower myself, but I do need a little help changing.
I also need assistance with cooking on a weekly basis. Also, to go on an outing somewhere or to visit my Aunty. I do need help getting my wheelchair in and out of my car.
I am currently waiting for PIP mobility so I can have an assessable car with a lift for my wheelchair.
It is requested that the applicant be female due to the role involving persona, intimate care. For this reason it is exempt under the general occupational requirement section of the Equality Act 2010.
The kind of person I am looking for:
A female with understanding or willing to learn about ADHD, anxiety, Fibromyalgia, ME and FND. Someone with similar interests as me and compassionate.
