1:1 General Tutor

The Role:
As a 1:1 General Tutor, you will provide tailored, individualised support to students, helping them build confidence and succeed in their academic pursuits. You’ll work with learners of various ages and abilities, supporting them in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and more, depending on your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-on-one lessons to students.
* Create bespoke lesson plans tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of each student.
* Offer support with a range of subjects, from core subjects to additional areas of interest.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback.
* Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment.
About You:
* You are a qualified teacher who has left the profession but still has a passion for education.
* You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students in a 1:1 setting.
* You have experience across a range of subjects and are able to adapt your teaching style to suit the needs of different learners.
* You’re flexible, reliable, and comfortable with different learning styles.
* You have a DBS check or are willing to obtain one.
