Your future team:
As Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our highly collaborative and technically skilled engineering team. Your expertise and leadership will not only support project goals but also support our culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Your missions:
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that engineering standards are met, and guiding team members through complex challenges. By mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic planning, you will help elevate the team's capabilities and directly impact the successful execution of our projects. As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will be:
Leading and guiding a dynamic team, shaping the success of projects related to the design of mechanical services within a nuclear-licensed site.
Navigating and adhering to stringent regulatory requirements within the nuclear industry, demonstrating a keen understanding of safety standards and compliance.
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships.
Working collaboratively with professionals from various disciplines, fostering an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and shared expertise.
Tackling projects of high complexity, demonstrating problem-solving skills, and addressing challenges inherent in the design of piped services for nuclear-licensed sites.

Qualifications
Qualifications
/Skills to be successful:
Educated to degree level as a minimum
Experience in working within multi-disciplinary design teams
Design engineering substantiation in a highly regulated industry
Production of high-quality design documentation
Pipework design experience and in-depth knowledge of British and American pipework design codes
Fluid dynamics experience, including HVAC for water and air systems
Knowledge of BIM and LOD100 to LOD 400
Knowledge of Safety Functional Requirements and their Substantiation
MathCad software knowledge
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards CEng
